A set of canadian battledress badged up as a Canloan 2nd Lt of the South Staffords as seen in this photo: (oops, of course they're full Lts there, oh well it's only a couple of pips missing!)
The Battledress is actually post war Canadian (effectively 49 pattern). The trousers have been converted to match wartime battledress, but the blouse has been left with the open collar. Since this is an officer that the BD is for, it's not too unreasonable that this could have been done (though I do doubt it). However obviously the chap in the photo has the normal wartime collar.
The Canada patches are original as are the rank pips. The rest of the insignia is repro.
The size of the BD blouse is 15, 5'11" - 6'0" and 42-43 inch chest. The trousers have been brought in for a 36" waist and have inside leg of about 30"-31".
Both trousers and blouse are in excellent condition and this makes a very smart uniform.
I'm afraid I'm keeping the rest of the accoutrements, though I do have some very large repro canadian officer boots which may go up in a second sale soon.
I'm asking for £85 posted and paypalled within the UK. Offers considered.
