EXTRA INFO: I've got a British MK V helmet I've had since I was twelve, externally it's identicle to the 1944 pettern MK. III helmet barring the lower poistioning of the chin-strap rivets, and internally it has a much nicer liner, making it a passable bit of headgear for a WWII tommy, especially with a camo net fitted. It's by no means a shining example, I bought it at a surplus stand at a show and it's been a bit mistreated. It was evidently originally painted a blue colour (Still visible on the inside ofthe shell) but was repainted a dark green, in places the green has worn away and the blue shows through. The gromit that holds the liner to the pin has been battered with some blunt impliment and won't come off very easy, putting it back on without fixing it would probably be difficult, in all honesy I'd reccomend sourcing a new liner. I've tried to be as honest and thorough as possible here, and the price reflects the condition. I'm open to haggling and swaps for German gear, even if it's just couple of pouches or something, drop me a offer.
