hey guys its been aaaages since iv posted on here...iv had my full 37 pattern webbing blancoed for a good year now and the blancoed webbing is begging too fade mainly around the edges of the pouches....now im pondering .....did they re blanco their webbing when it began too wear off or did they just leave it as is for a while?? help a kiwi out!!

It varied.
I suspect when out in the field for long periods of time, they didn't bother. I mean it is a faff!
However when back in barracks, if they had an RSM/CSM who was that way minded, they'd probably have to keep it fresh. Especially if on guard duty (etc)...
Also, if they had a parade they'd have to keep it fresh, but then that'd normally just be a belt.
Blancoing and bulling is something soldiers were ordered to do to keep them busy. As such it was far more likely to be done in peacetime.
So having said all that, personally I've let mine fade.

I tend to do my webbing at the start of every season and then re-do my parade belt as I go through the season.

Either he is the ultimate professional and was singing through the assault or he was using a vocal track?
