How much do you want to spend. Do we take it from your handle you want something suitable for 1st Airborne at Arnhem.

Dont go to Spearhead or WPG both have pretty poor smocks with dubious cut and colours. I know they are cheap but you can do better for your money.
Whilst the current SoF smock isnt perfect, earlier versions were very good, I think it is better than the Spearhead and WPG.
I just got a very nice second hand K&C smock for £100. In much better condition than my old one and 1/3 the price.

Indeed, budget is the key here.

As poacher says i'd try and find a secondhand early rangercamp model , failing that the next up would be gmax/military tours that used to retail for about £200.

Current fad at the moment in living history circles is for Frank Brown/pegasus drive hand made smocks that go for a lot of money, personally i think they are a bit too garish and even if they are '100 per cent correct' they look odd next to the shades the rest of the world uses.... :)

How much are you looking to spend and what size do you need?

Remember - the Denison is supposed to be baggy. When jumping it would be worn over your entire equipment. The webbing, all the bags, it all has to fit under the smock. Don't buy your exact size.

Under the webbing, it was originally planned to go over the webbing I think I remember hearing (someone in the know will know), but that plan was abandoned as not very sensible. This may be why they are baggy - as they definitely are supposed to be baggy, but they are also definitely worn under the webbing too.

The green denim sleeveless oversmock was issued to go over the webbing and denison.
You see them in pre D-Day photos.
Intended to prevent chute lines snagging on kit.
Long diagonal zip and 2 small pockets with elasticated tops, allegedly for a mills bomb each.
I have one somewhere if anyone needs more details.

I have an original going spare.

Label has been replaced with a repro WW2 one so not sure of exact date but would think early 50s in WW2 type cammo and not the later 59Patt design.
