Since we have several disparate groups brought together under my Search Command it may well give rise to confusion when confronting unknown parties. The last thing we want to be doing is arresting members of our own search team!
It is a requirement therefore that you all report to me at 1200 hours and present your National Registration Identity Cards to me for inspection which the HQ clerk will endorse with a special security stamp. Not only will this provide a readily available proof of bone fide it will also foil any attempt at forgery committed by the escapees.

What other (if you want it at all) personal info would you like? Name, D.O.B. etc.
Or do I get to fill in all that on the day. 
Yes, clerk fills in and authorises cards on the day - ID cards are handwritten. And rubber stamped. Copiously.
