Well?

Only a week or so away............

I will, as tradition dictates, pack the car roughly 5 minutes before I'm supposed to leave!

I didn't manage to get the Lanark badge :( The only guy who sells them sent me one with wrong colours (golden instead of red) and apparently it was the last one he had. He won't have any new ones for a few months. Damn.

Kitwhore files: S&S Lee Enfield No. 4, AGM Sten Mk. II, Tanaka Kar 98k, WE Luger P08
Wishlist: AGM Stg44, possible LE No. 4 gas project

Too early for me to get very excited yet. I will sort my gear out this weekend and take it from there.

I have however planned what I am going to wear and I am looking forward to the escape and evasion stuff. Call it a 3 at present.

Cheers
Martin

In truth as soon as a game is announced I move up to at least a 3.5. This can prove difficult with more than one game booked and conflicting excitements. Currently at 8.

Have been undecided but have finally opted for Polish and am about to sew badges and epaulette now. Was going to be US but conceded to the angel on my other shoulder that I could not justify yet more money on another gun (ICS Garand) when there are so few prospective games (upset to have to miss the two other currently announced games). So the Lee Enfields get dragged out which should mean the Germans can sleep slightly easier!

May be down Friday depending on work but will probably leave Saturday night after the night exercise (looking forward to that greatly) as playing cricket on Sunday.

Charlie

I have a small skewer hidden in the collar of my jumping jacket, and a razorblade in my gaiter, as well as my knife.

I wish the weather would make up its mind, don't know whether to wear a cotton shirt or a wool one, the latest forecast looks promising however.

Now my gear is (mostly) sorted, I'm up to a 7.

Cheers

pack both shirts.

 I'm not known for travelling light.

I might have to bring three shirts, umm, actually four as I'm going to a family do on Sunday.

I'll be coming down Saturday morning, hope to be there some time before 11.30.

Cheers

Work done. Just catching up at Elstree, then going to head to Tesco until the rush hour dies down then I'll be on my way! A very busy and moderately stressful week over, I suspect the red wine might make an appearance tonight!
