Not going down the Zeltbahn route though - system is fataly flawed - you need four quarters to make a tent (duh) but there is no way I'm sharing a tent with any of you lot.

I'm quite happy to set off an "airstrike" or something similar for the Jerries. If one of the Allied lot could do the same for the Brits/Yanks/Dutch then I think it's a slightly more dramatic way if waking them up than just shouting at them.
Just give me a budget, and i'll put a shopping list together (for both sides)
or we could really make them "work for it". Picture the scene (from the Jerry side, i'll let one of the Brits work it out for their side)
BIG pyro let off, midway between the Jerry and Allied camps - it turns out that a resupply drop has gone wrong. The drop was made, but the plane (either a Junkers or a Dakota - depends how you want to play it) has been taken down by Flak or fighters.
Cue the pyro going off. Shouts of "Raus! Raus" on the jerry side. get the buggers out of their pits. Quick orders group, send em off to pick up the resupply drop at Grid Ref. XXXXXX
Of course, both sides are told the same thing. Both sides proceed to the drop zone where the winners get to recover the parachute drop (use the same cans and chutes we used at Arnhem). Just stick some cheap eats into a couple of the containers that can be added to the winning sides breakfast. Parachute containers must be recovered to the winners camp.
I'd do it at about 06:00 Hrs. 11:00 to 06:00 down time is plenty for a few hours kip.

I wonder what you lot are talking about sometimes - I seem to have led a very sheltered life. I'll be cottaging at the weekend myself. Well, I say myself - Yith, Webby and Heb will be cottaging with me. No cheese though, not 'til I get to fill the empty fridge.

Guy... just saw your post... I have to say if we're going to ban shooting at the time said we need to ban it over the whole site.
In the dark any area could be a base... its not safe to allow shooting at all.
Also what if someone has to go back to the car or something?
