Whats the score on pyro at IED? Is it "site supplied only" stuff. If not, I can get hold of Tony at TLSFX and see if he will do us trade rates (he owes me a few favours from the magazine). If you guys are up for it, it might be worth asking him if he wants to come down for the weekend. He's well into the re-enactment scene, and has done stuff for AI at a few sites (i've personally NEVER seen stuff go off like that at ANY other games i've been to in 10 years)
He was talking last year about giving Airsoft a go as well, so maybe we could negotiate a contra deal. Play for him and his mate, as long as they blow some stuff up for us?

Aha - pyros at IED . Basically they dont sell any pyro , they have a rough link up with a shop, who sells more cheapsoft guns than anything else
In terms of what goes , barring home made stuff pretty much anything . MK V , IVs , 12G trips 9mm trips , any size smoke you want .
I'd rather not get a shop involved though , we can provide some if needed but the scenario will not need much in the way of pyro .
TLSFX isnt a shop, they're a manufacturer. From past experience, They are happy to sell in bulk to event organisers - I wasnt thinking much of from the scenario point of view, more to do with allowing players to buy in bulk, therefore reducing the unit cost. And lets be honest. Pyro does add so much to the atmosphere at an event

Sorry , I know who they are . I was watching their explosions at the weekend .
I persoanlly don't tend to use a lot of Pyro up there, mainly because there's not much use in 700 acres. Perhaps we can discuss more at Arnhem , I'd also like ot undersdtand what we are asking for before approaching IED.
