I reckon so.

Getting hypothermia in midsummer is pretty unlikely though.

Will there be anywhere on site to buy grenades?

Having placed an order for our bbs I've only just realised you can't get them through the post.

IED would have bought them in for you, probably not enough time now. But you can get them from Airsoft World/Scotland who will send them by carrier no probs.

Whoops I've just seen the sticky thread about this - sorry. Might try Airsoft Scotland anyway.

In fact I'll have to because I haven't been able to log in to ASCUK for ages so can't post an order.

Yes - however under 5w will struggle ot make any impact whatsover. We regularily use 5watt comms to little effect at IED .

Looking at the weather , it maybe worth people taking the following ot stash in the car in the event of it being very wet .

1 A basha sheet or tarp to help keep out the rain during the night .
2 A spare pair of boots no matter what era incase you are totally squelched by Satuday afternoon .
3 Lots of spare socks , TBH the main thing I always take on 24 hour games is lots of spare socks. Changing them every 6 hours especially if your boots are wet through makes the experience more bearable .

We're here ot rough it , but we'd like you all ot enjoy the experience as well

That said I'm sure it will be glorious weather this weekend , I'm still planning on taking the canvas bivi tent to sleep in .

Yep, me too. I swear by my goretex socks no matter what the weather. Steiner, glad to be of service with the IPK!

I'm going to live by my jungle training maxim - Have a dry set of clothes (in this case tracky bottoms and t-shirt) to sleep in, then just wear the wet stuff to play in.

I'm going to live by the "kitmonsters maxim". Take a huge amount of kit to start with.

Sod getting changed back into the wet stuff at the start of the day lol - BTDT far too many times on 4 day lightweight backpacking trips.

It's the thought of carting huge amounts of kit to the camp site that puts me off the "kit monster" approach. I'm trying desperately to economise on an ever increasing amount of kit!
