Josh Burnstone sent me in your direction as we were chatting about the idea of having a WW2 game at our Eversley site.
I don't know if you are familiar with the site, but it is a large woodland site, with lots of natural cover all year round and a very varied landscape.
The site could be used all weekend with plenty of space for camping etc. I'm sure Josh will vouch for it.
The site is easily accessable from both the M4 and M3.My particular WW2 thing is the tanks, can't explain it other than I've had a Panzer fetish my whole life! Would love an excuse to get my Mauser out too.

Hmmm, site looks a bit ghey. Pallets and tyres aplenty and pretty flat looking.
300 acres is a good size though and it's quite easy to get to.
However, I'd be more interested in any potential for access to MOD sites. "Ambush Wargames offer a variety of special events both at the Eversley site and at MOD training facilites."
Mind, what's in it for them then?

Looks OK to me from the photos - typical rhodie/fern/pine airsoft site with structures of one sort or another but no ghey forts!
However, it's impossible to judge a site from photos...
What's in it for them? Same as any site we have used - cash and a wider exposure!
'But what really got the pulse racing was the amazing play area that spreads itself across two sizeable valleys. The whole area is a roller coaster of features, with natural mounds and gulleys that wind their way over the two valleys. In addition to these features, the site is covered in heavy vegetation, with all manner of plant forms from pines to ferns. The later of which offer a wealth of hiding positions. Yup, I have. Lots of times. Hell, its literally 10 mins down the road from where I live.
Site wise, its a lot more interesting to play in the summer, as there are some really nice Bracken fields to crawl through. During the winter, those areas are far too open for my liking. The rest of the site is either FC type plantation, or very thick Rhodedendron.
Biggest problem (from our PoV) is that you cant use bang type pyro there, due to the pansy horse riders complaining (even though they shouldnt bloody be there!)
Bit of a blank canvas really, and due to the nature of the site you could do a fair bit with it. If i had to put it in any group, it would be firmly in the "average woodland site - nothing special"
Now, the site operator. If you want to know his "interesting history", give me a bell. I wont put it up online.....

MoD site wise, they use Bramley near Basingstoke. Interesting site!
