His 'crewed' Operation Moonchild has been cancelled, he is putting a weekender general WW2 thing on instead.

Sorry guys, Moonchild will have to wait until next year. What looked like a fully booked event at the beggining of the year has only 5 players booked on;(
We cant afford to loose the dosh on the weekend.
I have spoken to guys and we are willing to do a WW2 operations weekend at £45 per head so send 2009 of with a 'War to Far' however.
All are welcome to join us for a gunman weekend of operations, these will all be small 2hr senarios both days. Kick off Sat at 10am and finish at 3.30pm, same again sunday. Usual beers up sat night at the fort.
see new thread for more info. http://gunmanairsoft.co.uk/forum/index. ... topic=3844
A huge thank you to all the crew that signed up and big thanks from me for your support.
To the guys that booked on I can only say how sorry we are the event hasn't got the legs to play out! However, full refunds will be given or you can use some of it for the new game day we have organised
CheersJosh

Not really a surprise. The scenario was bullshit from the get-go.

Doesn't waste any time spamming up another date for a sisk though does he? :giggle: I suppose he'll have the 101st winning the battle of Anzio now as well :ghey:.

I do get somewhat narked with either doug or biguk always pointedly posting up "most of Dog company will be there to support you mate" or similar. He might as well say "we won't be going to any other events even though yours are crap Josh".

Still, no matter.
i) It means Dog Co won't be going to CiA or PBI events, which is nice.
ii) It means savvy players won't go to Gunman games because Dog Co are there. Which is nicer.

All the more strange that Gadge has twisted his sycophant's arms to go to the Caen game. Mind, I don't think he has ever played in a game with Dog Co yet...

Also, Doug always seems to post "I know everyone and that's a site I was at x years ago because I'm leet and stuff" which annoys me.

Josh cancels Moonchild, leaving that weekend free, then says that he 'can't make' the piss up which was on the same weekend.

He either doesn't want to come (relief all round) or there's something he's not telling us about that weekend and his reasons for cancelling.

He has paid for the site so is trying to get his money back somehow. Funny though - he is always 'gutted' he can't make any CiA/PBI/AGS event. Like he makes the effort!

Latest!

Hi guys, we have held on as long as we could but dont have the numbers for a good shoot. We dont take money from guys and give them a sub standard game, which the numbers we have would produce.
Cheers to all that put their names down and hope to see you all in the new year for more ww2 weekends.
However we will be sticking to three events only next year (no Ops), as the influx of new ww2 games has made it almost impossible to get the numbers needed. 3 ww2 games have been cancelled this year due to lack of interest and we cant afford to cancel one, let along three;(
Get those bookings in for Cean at Sennybridge, will be one hell of a weekend.
Josh

What an absolute dick. Hasn't he realised that it's cock company that are his biggest problem for other players? (Literally!). I doubt he'll even manage 3 games a year with his organisational skills.

I see his latest post for his Sennybridge sisk is bemoaning the lack of Germans. I don't think he'll get much joy there.

I feel like we should tell him the reason why Germans don't book (DC), but then I don't want all the Germans going to his SISKs!! ;)

It always strikes me as strange that he has such a large allied contingent and we have so many loyal German players. I still recall fondly the spanking we gave them at the D-Day game. I think our Germans are sensible enough to know what josh and his girlfriends are all about.

He's announced another Operations Weekend, but weirdly after his Senny Sisk: viewtopic.php?f=51&t=9694&view=unread#unread

On the same date as our proposed training day. :slap:

It'll most likely get cancelled anyway, like his other "operations weekends". He's really struggling to get Germans for any game and it won't be economically viable if only cock company go.

Cunningly he has devised it so that a side imbalance doesn't matter as they will be shooting at each other regardless of uniform. I imagine using armbands to identify sides.
The single thing that most separates WW2 from open days - recognisable uniforms for each side! :slap:

Just seen he's taken more allied bookings, yet the jerries can't even muster 2 sections! Also, one of the German side is playing as a JAP! Ffs. Just needs a couple of Afrika Korps and Burmese native bearers now and maybe some Siberian ski troops, to make it the biggest sisk ever.

Edit - He's just posted on the 16th's section, sucking up to them. :ghey:
