It would have to be down south-ish I would have thought - convenient to airports/ports/motorways and at a cracking 'interesting' site that has camping available and preferably experience in hosting 'high profile' events. Maybe even a joint venture with Gunman/AI mag/A.N. Other to distribute workload and responsibility?

Well, it'd have to be in the Autumn for me. Too much on with the wedding and whatnot. But in principle, yes, I'd be interested.
Not Gunman exclusively though. If we did it, it'd be our event and we'd be inviting people to it for free to help out, not to devise and organise it. Too many cooks and all that.
I'd say south Midlands would be best. It's good for East Midlands, Birmingham, Luton and Stanstead which cover most of Europe. Somewhere like Northants.

Sounds a good idea in principle. It would need to be a bit larger scale than usual though, in terms of side numbers. Not sure about involving anyone else though, except for using their props or vehicles. Dead against having Josh around, how about someone like PD, or some other sympathetic reenactors?
HS, you read my mind about location. Somewhere like Northants would be the ideal location. We wouldn't want to put off all of the loyal northerners by going too far south east.

Yes, the problem with Josh is that nothing's reciprocal.
The idea of combining with PD and his game idea is a nice one. We could claim a little credit for making it work the second time and kill two birds with one stone. We would also gain a little from taking in a few more reenactors.
PD would benefit from our PR, marketing and comms skills and attention to detail, which he seems to lack.
Mid-late October would work well. The weather's good that time of year and it's out of the holiday season. August and September are totally off the cards for me.
