Had an idea earlier about how we can expand the references and kit guides a bit - basically a load of articles about every aspect of WW2 airsoft. It might be kit related - say, photos and examples of how late war German webbing differs from the early war set up, to something about field rations and how to live outdoors for a weekend ('cos lets face it, half the fuckers on here don't know the first thing about living under canvas for the weekend) I'm not talking about doing this all ourselves, if any of the punters have anything good to put up, then we should.
If you're wondering why i've put it in here, and not in the general forum section, its because I *really* don't want Yith to write a 5000 word epic on "the joy of blanco" before we've even figured out if the idea has merit, or not.

TBH, I'd rather it was structured and 'commissioned' by ourselves rather than any old stuff offered by all and sundry. I've been doing it with the kit guides, bit by bit - although judging by the time text gets written chaps seem to struggle! (still waiting for falshy text). I'm doing a GD one with Steiner next weekend - I'll attempt to shoot Ruskie and russian partisan ones too.
So yes, by all means let's build on what we have and do 'in-depth' as well as overview - but think of a subject, how to approach it, then put it out for offers to contribute.

You've made some good points there. Targeting people for editorial might be a better idea than opening it to all and sundry - it also means we have more chance of getting some stuff thats useful and interesting, rather than 10 people all writing on the same subject.
