You have all seen Andy's PM asking for assistance for his game.

I think we have all been giving him advice since he floated the idea - it's a bit late to ask for more, what more can we say?

I have previously said he can borrow our medic bags but is it too much to be asking for our big stuff? He should be planning on building his own out of his/GZ's budget surely? I'm certainly not minded to be preparing signs for him, I have a lot of catching up to do, it's hard enough to find the time for our game let alone someone else's.

Without trying to sound harsh, if players decide to throw a game then they need to stand on their own feet and given GZ is taking a hefty whack (and they are a commercially big site) then their input should be paramount?

Thoughts?

LOL. My PM to him was along the lines of:
Guy wouldn't want to drive a landy and trailer all the way down south to deliver props
sign making can be easy if you want it to be
prop making if you want/need them is part of the fun of sorting an event
sort radios out with GZ staff/marshalls
keep commanders fully briefed on scenario and what happens & when, the are running the game not just playing it

FWIW I don't think Steiner was having a pop at us - he was annoyed his idea was being dissed on the open forum, Yith's fault!

I'm pissed off he's felt the need to have a dig saying he hasn't got the power of the 'CiA Brand' and therefore should be treated differently.

I've sent him a PM saying nicely that Yith is not part of the CiA brand anyway.

I'm not going anywhere near that thread though!

To be perfectly frank, I think Andy is panicking a little. This gig was supposed to be him *and* Neill organising it, however, I get the distinct feeling that with Neill dealing with his personal stuff, Andy is very much shouldering the whole thing.

Regarding lending props/kit, i told him that I have no problem lending him some of my own props (field telephones and the like on a you bend it, you bought it basis)...

Re. Yith. Yeah, he's being a tool. Again.

Yup, i'm going to this. It'll make a refreshing change to go to GZ and not leave by lunchtime because i'm so disgusted with the cheating (yeah, i know, i pop back there every now and then to see if things have got better. Normally, they haven't)

Yay, that will boost Andy's numbers by two for the Germans, he'll be pleased.
