I'm stay out of it but its probably best to get it out the way ASAP so we can shift the thread from sight. It doesn't look good to anyone who doesn't know the history. That includes me, although I know a little and can guess the rest.

It was dealt with personally. I told him and a couple of others not to engage with me ever again. Now that he has, I'm not going to hold back. Sorry, this guy and his cohort did some pretty inexcusable things.

Every single user of the forum got the message directly - a good deal of whom have never heard of ASCUK - but just saw two senior CiA members hurling abuse at a new member introducing himself. Most people don't care about 'history' of forum shenanigans. I certainly don't. Its now and the future that matters not the past. ASCUK never did us any favours and they didn't do themselves any favours either. We managed just fine without them, we even benefited as people found a 'nice' forum and game style to play in.

Anyhoo, if you want him to get the message directly then PM him with the contents of the posts!
