I've been talking to Julian at Epic recently - he asked if he could have a reciprocal web link (which I have now done) and asked if he could be added to the list of suppliers in the kit guides. Which is fine, I've always found him to be a trustworthy retailer and someone who is keen to sell is a good associate (in terms of forum user benefits).

Anyhoo, I asked him if he would be interested in taking a slot in the retailers section. I pointed out that Anthony (and to a much lesser extent Chris) were already well serving the Axis sector and we didn't particularly want to upset that but that there would be a good opportunity to push his US gear which a lot of people don't know about (SoF always springs to mind first, regardless of reputation!). He is keen to go for it and will be fairly proactive, which is good.

He also offered CiA cash for advertising (I have the db banner advert system in place now and has been running for a few months). I don't think we need go down that route yet (Alex on PST has though, Julian is one of his advertisers) so I think we will leave that aside for the moment and just thank him for the offer.

So, OK for a US kit focused retailer to come on board?

I'd like to see the quality of his kit, but in principle, yep.

Perhaps a tweak of the kit guides to include a link to him too.

I haven't looked at it closely (having long since completed US kit) but he is at the miltaria fairs, indeed at the one we went to together!

His Axis kit is fine, don't see any reason why the US/Brit wouldn't be?

If he was at Malvern then his kit should be fine. In fact, I'm sure I bought some webbing off him once.

I've bought kit off Epic, no problems with them.
