Any objections if I give Taffy a section in 'Other Games' to help him promote his game (and give the public appearance of offering all our help)?

It would be above Gunman obviously!

Hmmm, what's wrong with the WW2 Games section we already have.

I just fear that we'll go back to having separate forum areas for every tom, dick and fartknocker who's running a game/SISK this year.

It's just That Gunman is sat their with his own section and Taffy is stuck in 'Other'. It can be demoted once all is done and dusted, much as Webby's and Steiner's games were.

Yeah, I guess. I can't remember the genesis of the PBI/Gunman forums.

Gwan then.

I've thanked him but I can't commit to go, maybe I'll relent closer to the time but it doesn't seem likely.

Chommers! You power whore! ;)

He ended up commanding the Brits at Op Lightning after saying he wouldn't go to it at all.

I would go, because I like the site and think Taffy is alright, despite being a bit....well.....Welsh, but I'm not around that weekend.

Oh, you noticed at last - it was an impulse decision and I'm not quite sure why I did it  !
Lol, I didn't command Op Lightning I was a lowly Cpl but did have to take over when both superior officers were lost.

Heh, I just couldn't let John flounder, way too nice a bloke and someone who isn't in it for the money. He has pulled out all the stops to look after the punters too.
Look at the German side, no clear leader and how crap would it be if the 101st trounced them (and how good would it be if they were spanked!).

As you say, nice site, nice bloke and some of 'our' crowd going (I thought he might get more bookings if someone from the CiA team was there  )
And its Taffy who is running the game, not Spiers. Yup, a SISK for sure but I'll be giving the Germans a hard time and see how far I can push them before the start rebelling! :ghey:

Oh and it will only cost petrol money so not so bad, much as this Crich event - which has gone very well. Saw Poacher there today and had a brief chat. I have come home tonight though but will go back early tomorrow. I just couldn't see the sense in another relatively sleepless night in damp kit after an evening of listening to Yith's drunken shouting  when I live just 25 minutes away. Bit of a :ghey: cop out and much derided but I endured one night so not a total wimp. I do like hot baths, central heating and a comfy bed! I don't think I'll EVER enjoy this camping lark, endure if I have to but not enjoy! :ghey: :ghey: :ghey:
