WTF's going on with all the misinformation from AFRA via email. Like: "Here's some info that's not for the public domain so please don't tell anyone" followed by "The information was wrong please disregard".

FFS, check your facts before announced to all and sundry.

I'm resurrecting this, because I paid my £15.80 to join AFRA (via paypal) on August 28th and, since then, have heard f**k all from them, despite numerous emails. I note that PD hasn't been around lately, is there something going on?

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!

Try sending PD a PM via the PST forum just in case the AFRA email system is playing up.
PD's mobile number is 07957 226689 so you could try a text.

I haven't heard much either, and I've never even bothered to register on their forum....

The forum went ages ago - I tried as one of the admins to get the others (PD & Poacher weren't part of policy group and kept out of it, fair to say) to think outside the box and create a forum for reenactors not kit collectors as all the other forums are. That is to say, all about participation and doing the business of shows and battles. However, it became clear that some people are so wound up about kit (and the accumulation of it) that they completely miss the point of reenacting. Therefore, bit by bit it became an exact clone of the other forums and therefore it was made redundant - what have more of the same.

Its a bit like this forum really - despite me attempting to put events more and more to the fore it just gets bypassed as people feed their obsession with gunz and badges.

Well, once again I can't log in to the website with the password I last used and the "forgotten password" option isn't working either.

This happens every time I try to log in the damned site.

Got a reply from Poacher via this forum after my email didn't work.

According to their records I haven't renewed this year. I had to send them a photo of my 2011 card as proof! :slap:

Now they can't do anything because they're all at Tankfest!
