I didn't want it to turn into a BMP closet thread either ....I'd challenge liberal othodoxy again though ...its as extreme as the other end of the specturm IMHO even though I broadly agree with a lot of it . . you can all burn me as a heretic like we did when Christian orthodoxy was enshrined in law back in the 1400's

My comments on this thread still stand ...I'm enjoying being a little provoking (not much more to say TBH so will shut up shortly) but if it becomes uncomfortable for anyone pull the plug . I won't take offence.
Quite the contrary, I think the level and quiality of discussion has been excellent, and Ranj's post probably the best of the lot.
