It appears we've been changed from "global moderators" to "moderators".

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!

Makes no difference anyway, I never used the colour of my title as a status thing, nor have I ever abused the position.

No, don't think any of us ever have, despite the many rantings for banning some of the nobbers on here . Mind you looks like we can't be trusted anymore Pete.

Stupid, stupid, stupid man.

Guy, Could you explain to me exactly what a global moderator does and EXACTLY how it is different to a moderator?
No.

Did you EVER make use of or take any interest in moderating the forum, other than deleting random stuff or shouting at a punter?
No.

Is your forum 'power' any different to what is was last week?
No.

Being a moderator isn't a badge of office or a symbol of status - it's a job of work.

I'm fed up of your chip on the shoulder, fed up of your power broking, fed up of your attempt to destroy everything that has been achieved over the last five years.
You treat everyone with contempt, bicker and slag off everyone in sight. You haven't even a clue of the names or faces of most of the people who attend your own games, you have no interest in anything other than your on small world.

I'm trying to do something positive for the wider community - a community that is wider than your small huddle of drinking buddies. Most people see that, most people see something POSITIVE happening, something beyond the personal battles you have sunk into.

Now, I'm doing this thing with or without you, I don't care which. You don't like forums, you don't like what people post, you fly into a rage at the drop of a hat. Fair enough, no problem, don't use the forum. Don't look and get yourself annoyed. Save everyone the grief.

I'm not saying any more, I'm just going to ignore your tantrums and rants from now on, it is of no consequence. Just accept the world has moved on.

So if it makes no difference why change it other than as a bit of provocation , another reminder that now David has all the power and can wield it as he wishes. We started this fall out over trying to decide something democratically if I recall

Did you EVER make use of or take any interest in moderating the forum, other than deleting random stuff or shouting at a punter?
No.
Who the fuck are you to judge, the backlash you have provoked obvious shows the nonsense of this

Is your forum 'power' any different to what is was last week?
No.
As if this matters ?

Being a moderator isn't a badge of office or a symbol of status - it's a job of work.
Agreed , same as having 11000 posts doesn't make you more interested, just shows how boring the rest of the posters life must be

I'm fed up of your chip on the shoulder, fed up of your power broking, fed up of your attempt to destroy everything that has been achieved over the last five years.
you are the one hoping ciA would disappear without you "leading it" ....that plan hasn't quite worked out has it bud ? We've calling it the "Pratt" effect  If ever anything has revitalised our efforts it's the way you have handled this.

You treat everyone with contempt, bicker and slag off everyone in sight. You haven't even a clue of the names or faces of most of the people who attend your own games, you have no interest in anything other than your on small world.
read your own posts on this private forum hippocrite.I'm sure Gadge Yith and the others woukd be interested ot see how neutral you really are , don't bother deleting the threads we've already copied them

I'm trying to do something positive for the wider community - a community that is wider than your small huddle of drinking buddies. Most people see that, most people see something POSITIVE happening, something beyond the personal battles you have sunk into.
I'll accept this is what you think you are doing , but a community is that a group of people not a dictatorship by one . It is also a broad church that caters for all tastes

Now, I'm doing this thing with or without you, I don't care which. You don't like forums, you don't like what people post, you fly into a rage at the drop of a hat. Fair enough, no problem, don't use the forum. Don't look and get yourself annoyed. Save everyone the grief.
The only way I'll be disappearing soon is if you delete my account , which will send a clear message to everyone else on what a control freak you are becoming .

I'm not saying any more, I'm just going to ignore your tantrums and rants from now on, it is of no consequence. Just accept the world has moved on.
It has , without any of us agreeing to it, and frankly with little open opposition on the forum , we've played along with your crap for thesake of unity , and in the end we will live with it because we have no choice, you would do well not to be quite such a cock about it .
Most of the moderators on this forum will be at Schaulen you think they can't see whats going on, or don't care ? Your fucking niiave. People think of this as the comrades in arms forum, the name is larger than just the CiA organisers nd it's certainley bigger than you., it is a brand to which people are affiliated, your attempts to downplay this and rebrand it as WASSCOCK is doing the damage. You are turning this into "Just another Airsoft Forum" well done top marks Fluffy

I wasn't going to respond to this as I see it as a tiff between the two of you. I'm really just fed up with all the name calling to be frank.

However, I do have to pick up on a couple of points.

We've calling it the "Pratt" effect

You're calling it the "Pratt" effect.

As I've said before Guy, please don't speak on the behalf of others without consultation.

read your own posts on this private forum hippocrite.I'm sure Gadge Yith and the others woukd be interested ot see how neutral you really are , don't bother deleting the threads we've already copied them

I think we all know that the releasing the contents of the private CiA forum is a form of mutually assured destruction that no-one wants to unleash. So let's leave that little threat right there shall we.

Now, can we CiA four get on with concentrating on our future and organising games and leave Dave to do what he wants with this forum please?

Sorry Stephen. Not really a tiff, it's just that I don't have to toe the line and put up with bullshit any more!

I care not a jot for Guy's posturing but "you are the one hoping ciA would disappear" does jar. Having given 100% to CIA for five years AND continue to do what I can (hell, I've just spend time and effort setting up CiA's own website and robustly rebuked Gadge for his outrage) and my earnest hope is that CiA doesn't fizzle out. I left CiA for making a stand on a point of principle. All public utterances have accentuated the positive and I wished CiA well. I do wish CIA well privately too, should there be any doubt.

And on that note, I'm clearly not helping the internal relationships so this is my last post here in the CiA private section, any other communication will have to be on the public forum, moderators section or by email, PM, text or phone.

Good luck, hope Schaulen goes well (20 days according to the website countdown!) and more good things ensue.

David

Pete you were right , the main difference is that as non global mods the people who go about in "hidden" status are invisible to us now, whereas before they weren't .
