Erm ....myself Kermit and Major have entered into somewhat of a bling war , and to celebrate this we are thinking about starting a new group as a light hearted antidote to all the serious groups. It's intended as a bit of fun rather than as a poke at anyone , and will be totally informal and not require it's own forum etc .

We’re proud to announce the formation of the LSSAH Spezielle Trinkende und Blingen Gruppe STBG

This hitherto forgotten formation in Germany’s premier Panzer Division will be brought back to life as a true Drinking History unit .

Kit requirements
1 Officers kit
2 Unspeakable amount of bling
3 Full Hip flask and 4 bottles wine .

Membership is by invite only , Antwarter will be judged by the amount of bling they possess on a single tunic , their record of liver abuse , and by their fervent devotion to becoming comatose within 4 hours.
The ability to sing badly in cod German an advantage.

Successful applicants will be able to have the coveted “Kermit made me do it “ honour cuff title if we can be assed to get some made.

We will be holding training nights before every major event , but hopefully no photoshoots.

Heil and Sieg

Yes I know Major can't drink, but he does a great Xmas tree impression with the bling !

No objections and we'll get going !

Can I add a condition of membership?

The inability to wholeheartedly complete a full day's airsoft following an impromptu training night.

I think I could join then too.

Go for it!

We reckon Heide possibly as well , as he's normally so hung over he has a bit of a "disappearence" on the day after .

Meh, I'll just sellotape some tin foil to my naked chest and be done with it.

I reckon Porta and TIny are definites for this too, if they ever come to another game!

I'm not overindulging in the soup either.

BTW, just edited my reason for joining the forum to 'Kermit made me do it'.

I'll get a proper past tense translation for the cuff title.

Translation is:

"Kermit hat mich dazu gezwungen"

Pronounce the "z" in dazu and gezwungen like a"ts"

Had Rich Whinging already

Guy, its a nice joke and all, but is putting unneccessary traffic into the wanted section etc... can this thread be moved to Off Topic please.

hehe - in the "wanted" section was a joke in itself , I deliberately chose the most unsuitable bit probably because "we were under the influence ! "

Plus it also stops people thinking it's a serious group rather than just a kidding about .

We'll see where the discussion goes , we might wander it aroundfrom place to place

Please don't... This forum is for users and some take it a little more seriously than you seem to... some of us don't want this sort of shit going on.

Please just put it in the Off Topic section.

I've since moved it into General Axis to avoid confrontation :ghey:

Actually unless anyone wants to stop me I'm tempted to post the following on the thread

Sorry peeps have recieved the following we may have to shut this thread down ...
This forum is for users and some take it a little more seriously than you seem to... some of us don't want this sort of shit going on.

I won't attribute it , but might shame the cnut into thinking twice and being an arse once.

Nah, leave it. He's perfectly capable of demonstrating his ability to be a knob himself.

Not impressed with all this to be frank.

Rich was quite right, had someone else posted in an incorrect section it would have been moved.

All very shabby, however much a big joke you think it is. You have also blown out of the water any reason to criticise, say, Stubblehopper for not having airsoft at heart. You have placed yourselves on an extreme end of the spectrum as hard drinking oafs with only the night before of interest, at the other Stubble with no interest in the game other than posing for photographs.

A harsh and contrary opinion to you three, but there you go.

Ah fuck it then Dave . You had a chance to challenge this before it went open but chose not to , easy to criticise later .

I'd like to think that airsoft was about having shits and giggles with your mates, as well as running round playing with toy guns.
If it's all got to be taken highly seriously with no other aspect then fine fucking get on with it .

I frankly can't be assed with this much longer . This forum is in danger of developing into the same reenactor crap on every other reencator forum . Little groups criticising each other , being wildly anal, talking about sitting around for the weekend doing fuck all . Whilst I wouldn't stop them doing all this crap , and have tried to be suportive, is this now the only way forward?

You'll have ot give me a good reason to carry on with this .

Why throw a wobbly when someone has a contrary opinion!

I have no intention to censor you - you three are happy, that's fine, sorted. I was just pointing out there are all shades of the spectrum - yours is not the 'right' way any more than Stubbles is. Everyone gets what they want out of it, everyone is happy. Unless you let it get to you, there isn't a problem.

You find it a great laugh, others don't - what's wrong with that?

I think thats what the vast majority of users are here for - to have fun. If Rich wants to be incredibly anal about things, he's got re-enactment. Being blunt about it, you cant please all the people all the time, and I aint changing my views just because one person doesn't like it. And i'm more than happy to post that on an open forum, if he doesnt STFU.

**edit**

Has anyone had a go at Rich via PM yet for being "too serious"?

**double edit**

Anyone realise we're on the run up to what is known as "the most miserable day of the year" - the 21st Jan.

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........
