Agreed CW.

Exactly why I'm ignoring Harborne Blue's comments.

Speirs has transcended annoying to being compleltey off my radar these days.

I think we invite he and oddball to thew next game, get em to crew the tanks and then when they are both in run superglue along the hathces...

at least until we can get at them with a welding torch.

Heh. Speirs is trying to get his game based at SWAT.

I can't remember the detail, but I'm sure there was some controversy from SWAT a few years ago. Some terrible game that cost a fortune and was basically a daylight robbery.....

Anyone remember?

Ah whats it matter , at least he's gving it a go . I'm 90% certain it'll come to nothing, but if he gets it together we can go and then whine afterwards about it for the next 12 month
We also ought to be prepared ot help a lil as he's only airsofted twice

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress

The American chap we saw at UCAP who told me in hushed tones he was in the police force? I assumed it was some special secret section on diplomatic duties or sommat - turned out he was in the Cheshire Traffic section!!

Aaaaahhhhhh Richard Wynne!!!! Run for the hills!!!!

It was his event where he got everyone to parade for his own little dick quiver! That was run at SWAT. They had a Big Game too which was a total failure iirc.

I'm pretty sure Dude's got some connection there too.

Guy, have you been taking Valium? You seem remarkably calm about some of our users all of a sudden! ;)

It's the creeping approach of 40 mate , I'm becoming remarkedly indifferent/blaise to lots of things, and refusing to wind up my blood pressure over other people . I still get irritated , but have a decision process that involves "is this really worth getting worked up over ". I've also found that quite often things resolve themselves with time .

Hopefully not in a nasty way , I'll debate history with anyone and only when I'm sure of my facts . The US did not help us in the Flaklands to our loss , couldn't let that one pass.

Anyway I didn't say I was totally relaxed

I'm 30 and I've already started not bothering. The angry young man is ebbing out of me. (That sounds rude)

It all depends on how little 'real' things i've got going on. If i've nothing real to worry about i can easily get wound up by divs on forums.

I'm always angry at something...

Oh yeah. Anger is a good emotion when directed correctly. Just not where airsoft is concerned.

Too many people have died, divorced or gone mental for me to be worried about the trivial things in life.

Harborne Blue is proving to be a bit of a knobber at times....any ideas where he got his latest disinformation from then. Jay, you mentioned a suspect, y guesses are that it's Ken Elston.

My thoughts exactly, its that misguided old duffer Ken. He's always had a bee in his bonnet over FPS.

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

Great to see some quality reenactors joing our forum, but was disapointed to see Reich Crispies coming out with "NO FARBY CRAP" on his first post. I know what he's getting at for his event, but hope he learns a little more tact before we have to poke him with a stick .

* remembers now why doesn't do reenacting*

http://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/php/phpBB2 ... 2556#32556

Ps was tempted ot use Word Censor ot replace
"Farby" with

"anally retentive reenactor expression not used on this forum"

It's OK Guy, he just copied and pasted - I'm sure he didn't mean anything by it. Besides, it is a re-enacters event not an airsofters so they make the rules!

I know him from the PST forums, he's alright. Looks like a direct C&P to me.
