No idea. Don't know him well enough, can he be a bit precious?

I've sent Chris a PM - odd that he has pulled out without explanation (unlike Wotan). Guy said he wasn't that bothered about the rough treatment he got on wwii forum. Might just be that he was expecting a flock of people to join his fighting platoon. We'll see...

I've got a lot of time for Chris , but this "is it on /is it off" is getting on my tits a bit , although there maybe personal issues in the background of which we have no knowledge effecting him . It's all a bit erratic.

BTW picked Mordens name at random from the nobmods of ASSCOCK so if he's yer best mate ....well get some new grown up ones

PM this morning:

Sorry for the delay in replying David, just had a shit load of stuff to deal with, long term sickness, inter watch transfers, short staffing, new staiton buildings, you name it. It was looking like I was not going to be able to make it due to the above, just got sorted out and I can have the weekend for D Day off. With your permission, I'll try and get things back on the road as far as organising a full platoon. So, Stubblehopper, reporting for duty again, sir!

Hmmm Ian Wermerling

Having done 4 TA events , one good -three crap I can say he surpassed all previous efforts in shite with TA5 . I've always seen him as a bit of an amatuer giving it a go to try ot rival Stirling which is why I've always felt supportive towards him hahahahahahahaha!

TBH He's more a bit of a blagger ripping people off
For £75 the punters got :-

10 hours of gaming form a touted near 24 hr event
No props
No organisation
No Pyros
Little Plot
No consistent marshalling coz most weren't told what was going on
No leaders / Orbat / Mission
Rulels that changed on the hoof, a game plan that changed within minutes
Not even any water of site -FFS even I could hire a bowser from a farmer for a weekend .

Total shite - at the start of the game, 35 minutes delayed , 150 rebels were milling around waiting for "the Commander to show" .
In the end I gave them the morning game brief as the poor buggers were desperate ot actually get going at 1.40 .

Between myself Dave Manning and Paps we ended organising two further games over the weekend by literally rounding up players wandering around aimlesslye , depositing in a position and then getting the other side to attack them , WTF was Ian whilst us unpaid drivers were trying to give his players some money's worth? God Knows. ?

Last Strike , yep last time any of us do it again , which was a shame as the collection of vehicles inc 4 LR Wolfs was a cracking sight .

And finally some twat managed to crack my windscreen with a BB at 20m .....and what FPS was that then ?

Mind you chaps I feel a lot better about the time and effort we put inot trying ot keep our punters happy .

Chappel gets worse. Might be worth laying off the advice as he clearly is taking no notice - let the other forum users sort him out!

I'm holding back form advising him ot ask first if he can't be assed researching the subject.
My inclusiveness tells me not to critcise 37 pouches, my guts tell me he will feel a cunt wearing them at DDay as both sides will be telling him continually they are wrong .
