Heh, PBI are fooked anyway - they don't have their white van man!

chances are i wont be going to anything for the forseeable future. the power steering has gone on the van, and it needs MOTing next month( never much change out of £300, that a DONT have). so i will be dependant on others for lifts .

Just got this from Craig.....

:giggle: Well worded Pete ;)

Subject: Poor Bloody Infantry win 'Best WWII Airsoft Group' in awards

Alongside the good news of CiA winning AI's WWII award this is a great start to this year for WWII airsoft!

Yes, good news all round. Now, PBI, get to some games this year and hold on to your new accolade! :good:

I like the logic that because Myself and Yith go to games that is why PBI won the award, Why not CiA or Doughboys, me and Yith are members of those too. I find PBI less use than a chocolate fire-guard these days. The award irritates me as PBI proper don't attend events, or shill for attending them, that would be worthy of an 'award'. I had to almost strong arm 'em into Cassino, they are not at Horn etc etc. gah, I can get wound up by them.

I note that gadge was posting a reply, then logged off. Doubtless to go to the pbi boards private section to moan about me! :ghey:

And Craig has a fair point - Nige attempted to get 'PBI' booked on a reenactment date that coincided with Craig's game, where obviously they want as many people with Brit kit to attend. Nice of Nige to think of others first. Not.

Hehe, just checked Nige's profile on the forum. Most active topic - 'Latest acquisitions'

Gadge doesn't seem to be showing any interest in reenactment events this year, clearly won't be organising any airsoft events. This could mean he will end up trawling the forums more and sharing his wisdom!

Now this from Martin...

I was tempted to ask who the other runners were in the Best WWII Airsoft Group category ... :giggle:

Another pbi "member" who's not impressed by them.

That makes 2 of us!

Also, what about ramsey? He's harldy ever on here, posts even less and, is just a spy for gadge. I see he is advocating going to some reenactment do, rather than Craig's "Mace" game. Can we bin him from his moderator post and get someone else? (Plus, I don't like him very much, the miserable f***er).

Aye, Doug is lurking too...

I'm feeling sorry for Taffy who is completely clueless in all this. Mind, his idea of an event is open the gates, let people shoot at each other, eat rabbit stew.

Aye, and Taffy's made some rather arrogant comments about "little" games, which surprises me.

We as airsofters owe no specific allegiance to CiA or are we required to discuss ANYTHING in open forum if we do not wish to. Regardless of how CiA Mods feel about how an event is organised or when it is.

This undercurrent of resentment has been seen before. Strangely enough, in posts by other cock company members - it rises to the top from time to time and, shows what they really think. They seem to forget rather quickly who it was who started the WW2 airsoft community!

I'm not that bothered about who kicked WW2 off but we do have a responsibility to keep things going.

Frankly, Spiers actually stating he wasn't interested in cooperation with anyone seals the fate of the game and makes him look a right twit.

I can't see Taffy wanting to go ahead with this now, despite oddballs attempts to keep it alive.

I've noticed that noone has mentioned the "dog company" factor yet! That's why there are no Germans, nor any of our regular allied players have booked up!

Forums ...always a good place to make a tit of yourself , and I include me as well . I talk to armourer doug on the Mahindra forum as he's ok . I suspect most of DC are ok individually it just Bigcock and piers who like a fight / come across as arseholes.

Re the DC element in Taffy's game I would steer clear of mentioning it at all . If one of the others brings it up I suggest we (as the 5 of us) ignore it all . Most people we know , understand that DC are a bunch of nobs, by not joining in we will have the moral high ground .

Oh god, no! I'm not going down the cock company baiting route again! I'm just voting with my feet (and wallet!) by not going to any games that they are at, simples!

According to the moderator logs, I see that Spiers has deleted the "concerns" thread on his sisk section! :ghey:
