I've no problem with the Panzerschreck - if one lands near you same rule as grenades.

PPSH is a different matter. While it might do as a 'looks-like' the drum mag gives the same advantage as the support gun. Except that the SG guys have to use them deployed and it would be a nonsense to have a PPSH deployed! Tricky one. Load the drum mag with 600 rounds only and I don't have any problem at all.

I'll bring my kitchen scales to weigh out 120g of 0.2s then! ;)

Am I right in thinking that the panzerschrek is a NERF foam gun!??! Not sure about that if it is.

As far as safety goes if Gucci is happy with it then he can use it. I'm more concerned about the policing of it since it doesn't go bang.

A real panzerscreck is for taking out tanks and the like or infantry in bunkers. I'm just not sure how this will work in the game.

I agree with the drum mag. Too much of an advantage. I think I'm of the opinion we keep it simple and say no.

With the denseness of the foliage and the uneven terrain at F&O I think a foam panzerschrek will be a bit of a waste of time anyway. At that range you might as well lob a mk5.

Not keen, maybe if we asked him for a picture or description of it.

As for the beta AK, with regular mags it could be a mp44 couldn't it?

Aye, the AK on it's own is fine so if he can't be arsed to sort his bb's out the agree it is easier to say no to the drum mag.

I can't see too much of a problem with the panzerschrek other than as you have all said - good prop with limited practicality. Don't think it's a big issue though - if he wants to lug it around that's fine, chances are it won't be a great deal of use but the same could be said of pistols!

Side note: If it looks good enough it might work well on publicity photos even if it isn't used in the game.

Foam rockets.....um I can hear the G word again

If he wants to lug a tube shaped prop all day around I'll have him as a Mortar team member :D

RIS rails are GHEY!

heh...

I've added to hefalumps original post with the basics of our decisions...

BTW... Major suggested last night that we allow support weapons be depolyed on a second player's shoulders. The germans did do this at times with the MG34/42s

I suggest though that the person with it on their shoulder should have to hold it in place and would not able to shoot another gun....

What do you think?

Two man team is fine with me, as you suggest. It will give a bit of flexibility I suppose.
