I've been thinking about this for a few days now.
Pete has been a loyal player and a general CiA enthusiast. He is pissed off about the Jedburgh game. He has tried to help PBI with their last two games but found it frustrating. He is mightily annoyed with Yith.
He has PROPER military experience and has also runs airsoft sites and events and tried to do as much as he could with the Hohenstaufen thing including training.
In all a very useful and under-capitalised resource.
As it happened Guy dropped by this morning on his way ooop north. I suggested that Pete might be an ideal candidate to join the CiA team, and he agreed. Apart from the experience, having a fifth member will be useful if we are a man down for any reason. Pete isn't a yes man but he isn't dogmatic either and is very pro the CIA ethos and game style. He got on great with Stephen at Ariel and St Lo.
With the above in mind I have been PM'ing Pete today broaching the subject and seeing if he is interested. I made it clear that both Jay and Stephen have yet to voice an opinion on this. His vibes are positive and he is thinking about it. There is a complication because he said he would run the field craft day for the financial benefit of PBI in a few weeks time and would discuss this with PBI members face to face then.
Thoughts?

Yep. Heartily agree. I've known Pete since I began airsofting and have got to know him better through CiA. Thoroughly decent chap.

Gets my vote!

When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........
Coolio, I'll let him know.

Thanks for that. Basically, my answer is "yes" but I want to let PBI know first and I'll do that on my training day.
