Been talking to Doug , I was not aware they now have 4 jeeps and two trucks between them . He's keen to run a Red Ball Express/ convoy type game which could be a laugh . Did think we could do this more as private invite , as DC tend to have an off putting reputation, however if we billed it as a chance to bury the hatchet , (or for the Germans to give them a good mullering which they swan around in trucks ...? )
Was thinking along the lines of large number of US smaller number of SS commandos doing blow up, shoot and run rather than stand up battles ...

Sounds like it could be fun. The majority of DC are actually ok. Would also give the Germans a chance to do the sneaky commando type stuff for a change.

Yes Ceri comes to mind as it's ideal for ambush with lots of roads and cover. Or possibly GC, although there are only 2 roads and not much cover next to them . Or possibly Cerberus but it's all starting to get a bit northern . Given the timescale we could look at some other ones too .
Doug's ok, I'm hoping DC have matured as players a bit , and this style of game , hit a run, would favour a keen bunch of Germans and not be too worried about gamesmanship from the US if they were still a bit rough . Probs do it as a day game as I suspect after 3-4 big ambushes the game would be played out and I don't think the 101worst have it in them for a full on 24 hourer.
Certainly an intriguing idea. Plus, we'd get to pyro the fuck out of DC!
