Whilst they're discussing authenticity and kit requirements, I've started seeding the thread with not-so-subtle hints about our push towards authenticity for camping and kit. It's being received quite well. Might be worth spreading the word across other parts of the forum to get people thinking about it a bit.

I think the sub-groups are a good place to start as they strive to be more authentic, hopefully the culture will then spread!

Aye, me and Guy were talking about the camping side of things. Not so much an "approved guide" but more of a how-to-do-it-on-the-cheap-and-still-get-the-right-kind-of-look things, probably in the same format as used for the loadout guides

Hell, it is cheap. How much can you pick up a post-war yank or brit pup tent for? A fuck sight cheaper than any of my modern tents cost me, i'll wager.
