Sorry for not replying to this. I'm pretty busy myself at the moment. It would be possible to do something and, I'd be willing to do it, IF, we get decent numbers for it. I don't want to do something for the same faces and low numbers as on previous ocassions. I'm also wary of CiA only being known as the organising group who do training days.

I'm going to echo Pete's words on this. I'd much rather have a stab at a proper event of some sort although it sounds like all three of us will struggle for time...
Ok. My year's already busy, but I have free weekends here and there. Alternatively, we could just chill and enjoy attending events instead.
I've heard a rumour that Grafton Park is available again. If we could pull the old plans out of our arse, we could bagsy May. Want me to get in touch with Close Action and see if the rumours are true?

No, a new estate manager came on board and decided to review all the land usage so stopped everything whilst he was making considerations.

I can't do the May Day weekend (3/4) but otherwise OK.
The other Bank holiday is on Monday 26th - whether this will be good or bad for a 24/25 weekender event I think is an argument to had. On the plus side, some chaps book a work holiday on the Monday 'to recover' so won't need to lose a day's pay or holiday allowance.

Yes, I imagine most take holidays at Easter or wait until the summer holidays. I suppose we could ask on the forum which weekend people would prefer. Of course, we may not have that much choice, depending on the site and Close Action. I'd prefer the end of the month as I've got multiple commitments throughout April and the start of May.
A couple of other issues - Josh is running a Cold War event on 24/25th and a Flying Lead on 31st May/1st June
And Pete and I will most like be at FL. Edit: Looks like that's not a confirmed date for FL yet.
