Start brushing up on your stealth skills, an SOE based scenario is being developed for summer of 2012! Germans numbers will be unlimited, with roles for both Heer and the SS. For the SOE, we will be looking for up to 12 players who are up for a full 24 hours of tension. Challenging and rewarding for all concerned is our aim, as usual.

-- attachment is not available --

There will be a training day run for prospective SOE operatives, in the build up to the actual event.

More will follow....

Germans, for those who want to be spot on, the units will be the Leibstandarte SS and Heer Gebirgsjäger. There will also be scope for German civilians.

Slightly off Sean, as even CiA can't rustle up snow in summer!

If its even half as tense and fun as Jedburgh I'm there ! Hiding from the patrol car in a ditch while they stopped for smokes was one o fthe most atmospheric moments of my airsoft/reneactment/LARP career to date.

Sound great - any idea on when the date might be for this yet?

I have a small skewer hidden in the collar of my jumping jacket, and a razorblade in my gaiter, as well as my knife.

Thanks - Well on a purely selfish note I hope it's the 2nd weekend and I'll keep that clear, unfortunately I'm already booked up for the 1st.

It should be the second weekend of July. I'm just awaiting confirmation of my new shift pattern from my new masters at work before final confirmation.

Of course, the event will be totally dependent on numbers as well. Without sufficient players, it won't happen!

As a side note, noone will have to rough it. I will run a training day, focussed on living in the field, beforehand.

Well after all the positive noises I wish I'd got into this sooner for Jeburgh but I really enjoyed the running away, sorry, evading at Horn. Definitely up for training to perfect my avoiding trouble in a comfortable manner skills!

Cheers. It'll be like "bushcraft with guns", both subjects very close to my heart!
