You failed 'cos it can't be done! We have never changed forum names here as it gets too confusing to other posters - we all know you as platoon1!!
Anyhoo, I'll put the request before fellow mods and see what happens...
Thoughts? We covered this at the dawn of the forum and decreed 'no changes' and I'm inclined to stick with that. It might be an interesting question to put before our new mod group though - give them something to think about? A sort of consultative document with the guise of democracy which we can then ignore and do as we choose (heh, New Labour got one thing right anyway - let the people speak as long as they give the answer we want.

Wasn't there a thread ages ago, when Porta and Barcelona changed to their current names? Iirc, they were told it was a one time deal and they cold never change again. Personally, if the 16th guys want to do it, it's no bother to me.

One the one hand it's - "it doesn't bother me" and on the other "it can be confusing and can make searches difficult''. And there is also the issue of whether you are known by your forum name. I have never called Gaz 'Platoon1' whereas Headshot is Headshot and Yith is Yith.
OK, so we are not unduly bothered enough to stamp our feet. I'll get the mods thinking about it, make them feel involved!
I've got no problems with name changes it if they are *sensible* changes. But someone who wants it changed once a week should get told to fuck off.
As to Yith being Yith, well, i've had many a name for him: Tool, Retard, Fuckwit, Shithead, Cockchugger, Bellend, Wanker, Fucknut, Idiot etc etc.
