Just bought warrens lovely garand but wont have the cash to get a proper sling before dday. anyone have one I can borrow?

Mate you can get one of Z1 for £12 or something, which is an (almost) exact copy of the original pattern. It's called the 'brown leather rifle sling' or somesuch. I was pleasently surprised when I got exactly what I was looking for, in supple comfortable leather, no less!
