My Thompson's still up the spout, I was meant to get it fixed by Warren at the weekend, but I broke down before I could get there. As I won't get chance to take it over, leave it and go back for it before I leave at 9am Friday I was wondering if anyone had a Thompson/MP40/anything vaguely 'period' I could nick on a 'bend it mend it' basis? I've got a Thompson battery and lo caps I could bring, however anything that shoots further than my 1911 would be a bonus

Actually, thinking about it, it'll be pretty rubbish for this purpose, especially in the cold.
I'd try and get an AEG if you can.

worst comes to the very worst tom I have my tm shottie(converted to be a trench gun, with 10 shells) you can use. though a AEG would be better on the whole, plus i was going to use the shottie myself at some point hehe

well i sold HS my mp40 and craig my thompson to fund the garand heh so nothing left to swap now. just my 1903, winchester trench gun, garand, victory revolver, and highstandard hdm

My MP40's not getting used - at least, not unless someone buys it at the site on friday/saturday.
