I know the feeling. I got all excited earlier on when I saw SOF and Airsoft Armoury were going to be at D-Day. Then I realised all my dough's going on the £200+ petrol bill for the trip

Hehe, for all it's cost me I wouldn't change it for anything, except another Land Rover. It's, slow, it's an arse ache to fill up and I need to triple check it's in first every time I'm at lights. But it's my beast and I love it

I echo Majors sentiments - I am absolutely gutted - cos I was all geared up to go, guns charged, uniforms packed - even a weekends worth of repro K & C rations for added realism, and now I have gone and caught a monster chest infection - can't breath and sound like a wounded Lancaster!

I shall console myself with some online retail therapy - the doughboy's seem to have decided on 35th Inf, so I got me some patches to buy, and whilst I'm there another M41, and a garand sling and... Ok I'm coughing again and the lemsip's kicking in so I'm off to me gonk bag, relegated to the sofa, so as not to keep the house awake!

Che - hope so mate, but I've just finished my course and it hasn't touched it, - either that or the missus has seen an opportunity to claim on the insurance...!
