I think a couple of these are a little close to the mark to be honest, especially given the discussions surrounding remembrance.

but that's the point. when it comes down to it, unlike Living History, in airsoft, we're just playing a *game*. This has nothing to do with remembrance or anything.

i think in the other thread, it was obvious that those of us that do commemorate remembrance do it on our own terms at the appropriate time, not when we're running around playing war with toy guns having a laugh.

There's a time and a place for both, and they don't really overlap. if a couple of silly joke posters are close to the mark, then what's dressing as an SS member and shooting Allies?

exactly

I think its farmore disrespectful to play soldiers and dress it up as a 'tribute' then to parody the ludicrous propaganda of the age.

Its a satirical look at jingoistic propaganda that sent millions to their deaths for 'king & country' or 'ein reich ein volk ein fuhrer'

 I actually agree  won't happen again EVER promise, but I did see the "removed" post and tbh (just my opinion) what its been replaced with is on a par pretty much  Still implies the same thing

And yes I know and have read about the whys and wherefores of propaganda and the reasoning behind it at the time from all sides. Anyways as much "fun" as it may seem, the above could be completely taken out of context  of which concerns me.
