This site has a bio ammo policy. However they have been very kind and given us a concession to use regular BB's as the quantity used will be much lower than their regular open days.
That notwithstanding, players are asked to consider the policy and may wish to give bio a try for this event - I shall myself.
The site will have it for sale at £10 for 4,000 rounds 0.2g
i will buy bio bbs on the day
I like the idea of bionic ammo. Is it available in other weights apart from 0.2?

Heh, I knew someone would ask!
Yes, Pro-Biotic BBs are available in 0.2g, 0.25g and 0.28g from places like Airsoft World but I'll ask if heavier weights are available on-site.
Kewl. I'll buy some .25 biometrics if they have them on site. Otherwise I'll just choke mother nature with the regular stuff.

I'll swap over if there's .25's.. and if there dolphin friendly.

If it's a Normandy game, can we use Bayeux ammo?
eyethankyou
I know nuffink about bio ammo, so is there an expert here who could say if it is as good as normal ammo ?
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
I'm not an expert having never used the stuff before but I'm more than happy to try. There are several airsoft sites around the UK that only allow bio ammo so I don't think there can be an issue (unless they are all having a really crap day out ).
I do know when bio first came out a few years ago there were issues (not least of which was expense) but I have had issues with every brand at some time or another! I'm sure they are just as good now - Marui, Madbull and Excel all make bio stuff.
Actually, on reflection, with my (lack of) shooting ability, I really don't think it will make much difference.
However, I was rather hoping that Sgt Heide had put 4000 bio rounds down at 25 metres, and compared the results with normal ammo!
Anyone wanna go halves on a bottle of 4000? I'll probably be on single shot most (if not all) of the weekend, so it would take me about 5 years to use a whole bottle.

Yeah, the issue for me is not whether they are any different in accuracy but whether they will jam in a mag or block the barrel. Since this would be a colossal problem on a site with hire guns I can't see it being a problem these days.
I expect Kermit has done an article for AI mag at some time, I'm sure he will have a view...
Yay, cheers Rich.

Who? Me? Anyone would think that I'm obsessive about ammo quality and accuracy! Never tried bio myself but I must confess, I've been a bit bio-curious for some time.
When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
I've been a bit bio-curious for some time.
It's been ever since you joined the CiA organisers, I'd guess.

Oh, come ON. Bio-curious gets a laff but Bayeux ammo doesn't?? Sheesh, tough crowd.
Yeah that just the Norm MAN !!
