The nubbin on the trigger which the linkage to the gearbox hung off had sheared right off.
Anyway after a bit of drilling and brass wire bending there's something there to replace it... and it seems to work...
So MP40... check.
Of course I hope to just use the Garand... lol... yeah right!
Blimey, I'd better check my garand tonight, normally it's reliable so I get a bit blase about it.

Was a 1 as car knackered and in garage waiting for parts NEXT WEEK, now at an 8 as garage supplying me with a courtesy car (fingers crossed)
