I'm at about 5, I packed the car 2 weeks ago so I'm hoping I haven't left too much behind, (apart from the waterproof cape which I already know about ), had a mad panic yesterday evening when I realised I hadn't charged my batteries or polished my boots , however I managed to get them sorted as well as sorting out the 3 leaky mags on my 1911

Hopefully excitment level will start going up when I leave work although the fact that it's pissing down outside, (that's the Lincolnshire I remember ), isn't helping.

No, you're spot on, it's exactly how weather works. Well, okay, only a bit exactly, not totally eactly. But slightly exactly is better than not exactly at all isn't it?

Well, the more it rains (completely pissing down in Sheffield now) the better both the BBC and Metcheck forecasts for the weekend become, so I think you are on to something.

I think I've packed everything now, just need to sort last bits of grub first thing tomorrow and finish charging batteries tonight. Excited? Nervous? never done this before so it is hard to tell. Looking forward to it anyway.

people setting off already! a lie in is on the order for me. half 8 wake up, quick shower then lug everything to the car. so i'll be nice and fresh for shooting at bad guys =)

can't wait though so doubt i'll get that much sleep. still need to locate my second battery and scrim nets though!

Excitement is pretty much up there, but the morale is at about minus 15 as im furiously trying to pack, sleep, and find items of clothing, weapon bits, batteries and sanity. Not necessarily in that order though. Oh, and hidden in all that confusion my boots are hiding somewhere

Its 1am and my mind is like a blob of mushed up gloop, with a liberal dosage of strawberry jam!
