I'll bring my spare spare pair of glasses just in case too. They've got shaded lenses so aren't ideal but they're better than nothing. I'm having to use my spare pair since losing the nose piece off my favourites at Dragoon.

Does anyone have a spare German breadbag I can borrow please? I seem to have misplaced mine. I'm sure I put it somewhere to remind me it needed repairing only when I came to repair it I can't remember where I've put it! :slap:

Well I did that with my passport, so I suppose yours is far less important.

I have one that I'll bung in with our stuff you can borrow. Though I assume you are OK with it not being a LW one (they are blue right?).

Yes that would be great. The colour doesn't matter, mine is green anyway.

I've done that too. Turns out it was where I thought is was, only in a folder to keep it 'extra safe'(and impossible to find).

I know that feeling, I'm not convinced it was me that saw it last.

OK both myself and Yith have had weapons die on us, and it is from our loving hands that the loan to pvtJohnny was coming.

now I should be OK still, but I am rapidly running out of guns. If anyone has anything they would also be able to bring in case any more of my best laid plans go the way of mice or men that would be eternally appreciated.

I just intend to get wet as well.

I don't have a period US poncho so will do without, just as most of the troops did.

Having said that I'm going to have a flysheet set up in the camp site to keep dry under in case it rains which others are welcome to use as well.

We're camping in a field, so that might be difficult! ;)
