well, Just chrono'd my M1A1 Tompson, anywhere between 250fps - 350fps, think that it just needs some use to bed it in, only put 70rnds through it so far, will have to look at taking a bit off the spring, can always put a new spring in for woodland games, I don't fancy running around with only a 1911 with one mag for company.

Im almost tempted to do the whole game with a pistol, my WE 1911 actually fires further than my Thompson, plus I have a few spare pistol mags, AEGs are fine for hosing full auto down coridors but if everyone adheres to the 300 round limit the AEGs will soon be out of ammo,

Not saying this applies to you Steve but, I'd have thought (and it would make sense) that pistol ammo is not seperate from the ammo limit, otherwise we'll just get some people trying to exploit a "loophole" and carrying pistols and mags galore as well as an aeg, which is, frankly, a bit

I'm only using 2x .45s. I'm not even taking an AEG, I got a lot more out of using pistol at the Wotan game!
I have 8 mags, so thats 24 x 8.....192 rounds, so If I carry a 100 round speedloader, thats the 300 round limit, the speed loader will load another 4 mags if need be.... Sorted!

Just been adjusting the hops on my WE1911s, they are coming in at 305fps & 317fps ish on abbey ultra, I will bring my thompson too but dont think I wil be using it unless our CP gets swamped

I currently have my Mp44 in bits again as it seized up at the weekend. Turns out the piston head had unscrewed itself somehow. 
No sign of any damage though so a spot of loctite to make sure it doesn't happen again and it should be ok for the weekend. At least I hope so or its the P38 with 2 mags for me! Plus I need to adjust the hop on the P38 but I can't find the damn allen key.
