How are we pitching this....we're not going Wolfenstein with it are we? I remember Jay posted an idea for a Halloween game a while back that was poo-pooed.
Nothing too horror/sci-fi like, right?
Can we get one of these though:

S

Hah! Indiana Jones, saw that on Sunday - or was it last week?
Anyway, no I don't think we'll be doing anything unrealistic but we do want tension and shit-scaring!

Nothing too horror? Not like a Nazi lab filled with severed limbs then
No, don't get me wrong, I'm well up for it. I just remember your reaction to Kermit's wine-fuelled suggestion of zombies!

Wine/cider/vodka/scotch fueled suggestion, i'll have you know....
My POV is that we go for the same kind of setup we did for Wotan 1, yet maybe ramp up the "Ewwwww factor" in certain places. If I can make someone throw up, i'd be quite proud of achieving that.
Suggest we avoid Zombies entirely. Shit, most of our players could pass for extras from a Living Dead film first thing in the morning anyway.

Heh, I was a zombie on Monday . Good job I work on my own, must have looked a sight - staggering about; staring, dead eyes; moaning; fingers snapping off when I picked stuff up...

it was Yith who said no feckin zombies ....and I'd agree .
Shit that's twice in one day ![]()
Rights, lets get talking about props again.
We've got £586.70 in the kitty as we speak (Including £80 cash "held" by Guy).

I'm currently awaiting a rather detailed book on the whole Torsion Field/Die Glocke thing, so i'm sure that will provide some inspiration, but off the top of my head:
1: German Radio (i scrapped the Wotan I one after Husky - time to build a more durable one from sheet PVC that *wont* suck up water like the MDF used for the last one did!)
2: CD players, several of, for Sound FX
3: Sound FX CD's for the above
4: Field Telephones and cable
5: Signage
6: "Die Glocke" components
7: Large quantity of files for Intel
8: Booby traps ![]()
9: Couple of large scale maps
10: Ammo boxes (we have *shitloads* of these things between us)
11: Flags (considering buying a fuck-off sized one to go in the main chamber)
12: Some random "red herring" type components (dont want to make it too easy for them!)
13: Medic bands
14: Glowsticks for dead players
15: Medical lab stuff? (more gross than last time if possible!)
Personally, I don't see expenditure on this one being high - it would be nice to use a couple of events this year to increase the held cash, then build/buy a couple of *really* impressive props.

Cool, just make sure you get reimbursed for any expenses. We've got enough to cover the costs of the above.
I'll keep an eye out for some purple gloop! Glowshop is also just down the road from me so I can have a look at what they have there and online.

OK, as the game is now sold out we officially have £702.53 in the kitty.

So.....what do we need for this?!

You'll know by the end of the week. I'm a tad tied during the working week at the moment. The aim is to post up Version 1 of the plan and equipment requirements this coming weekend.

Rumpity-bumpity.

ok
1 Big purple EndeGlocke will get built in early April ( so it's not sat in my way for a month , reckon 2-3 day job based on V1 experience ), have already had some thoughts as to how to do this , reckon should be cheap and one way . Had some chats with David re the goo as well , may go for UV paints and black light .
Some idea of a stand i need to agree with Jay, but suggest this is a large trophy prop for the machine room
2 I still have the CDs of machine room noise and radio traffic, plus all our other favourite hits
3 I have aquired two large plastic drums 25l , which I will fill with purple goo if you want an objective ot be captured and run off with . I'm hoping with a bit of paint and decoration they will look more like frosted glass in the gloom than plastic , but will advise later on . Worst comets ot worst there is always a couple of jerry cans
4 Do not ask me to "bring all the ammo crates" unless they are really neccessary ....they are a pain in the arse ot drag about just as dressing .
5 Anymore props you want can suggest , then fire away , otherwise I'll concentrate on making the Gloke as thing to remeber ! Purple glowing cum & all ....
Also forgot to mention ....
I'll do some stuff for the "lab"...flase arms , test tubes full of gloop and some "nasties" if I get chance as well ...got some nice fleshc coloured leather from the shoe place that looks like skin .....tatooed lampshade anyone ?
Oh and don't forget the Enigma machine .
I saw some stuff in Tesco the other day that turns a bath of water into purple jelly-like paste. You then put in another chemical to turn it into water again. It's designed to make baths fun for kids so is totally safe too.

* Shakes head * What on earth you you and Kerstin get up to?

We go to Tesco to buy food, although I fully understand displeasure at that prospect, we don't get an opportunity to shop at smaller stores. ![]()
Good stuff though isn't it?
