Any other Germans doing the daft Jerry food thing this w/e ? I bought some Fleischwurst at Tesco, but they only did packets of two huge ones, and there's no way I can manage both. On the flip side, they had no German-style bread whatsoever.
So... I have a Wurst to swap for some bread, or any German food.

Lidl Andy, that's the place to get stuff.

Been there, tried that - both my local Lidl and Aldi are absolutely crap. Almost no German food whatsoever. ![]()

normally the local shop in the village does some that I would have got for you - but they don't have any now, perhaps there is a shortage of it? ![]()
Oh well, I'll have to use my spare Wurst for a silent Wurst kill! Watch out, Webby - I'm after you!

Hmm, the Goodies were more offensive than I remembered while getting all nostalgic about them the other day. Of course I was particularly offended by the portrayal of the French as effette, baguette wielding nancies and Northerners as scruffy little Bill Oddies with flat caps. (Wouldn't want to be too right-on and complain about the outrageously rascist portrayal of a black boxer. Oh no.)

Good grief, I've only just watched it. Reading Michael Palin's diaries, he was always very disappointed about the broadness of their comedy, and that's coming from a Python!
I prefer Batley Townswomens' Guild's reenactment of The Battle of Pearl Harbour:
