We are going to be providing you with ID cards for the event. This is so that you are able to have them checked by german personel.
The id cards will be reproductions of real Wartime ones!! ![]()
So, please bring with you on the day.
A B&W passport style photo of you in your DRW costume. This can be a computer print-out.
I'll let you know the size needed when I have the info available, this should be soon. Meanwhile please feel free to post the pics on here for us to see!.
Also bring a pencil so you can fill out the ID Card.
We will also be supplying "authentic" Oranje armbands.
So I hope your dutch civilian impressions are top notch! ![]()
Also if you can supply a portable CD player or ghetto blaster, then we can supply a CD of Sept 1944 dutch radio programmes for you to put in it... These are to secreted in the DRW's homes and shops.
Amendment: new photo instructions.
Please send passport style photo as jpeg to:
chomley at btinternet.com (use @ instead of 'at' obviously)
Doesn't have to be B&W but try and take a decent head & shoulders with plain background - clothing to look the part. Don't use camera phones!
These MUST be sent by the end of March so that they can be incorporated into your own card.

You also don't have to follow modern passport photo guidelines...
i.e. you can wear glasses, hats, look off to an angle and not straight at the camera (this is actually prefered)... etc.
Please can you confirm that you've read and understood this?
Affirm.

Hi everyone
Chomley tells me that he hasn't received any pictures, and judging by the response to this thread none of you have bothered to read this!
If you want this event to work properly you're going to have to help us out by making sure you have everything you need.
Please read, digest and get your photos to Chomley as instructed above.

Hmm for some reason it wasn't flagged as a new topic from the outside of the board for me, hence not seeing it was here. Cheers for the heads up Yith. Photo on the way
No longer involved in airsoft.
I'm awaiting my paycheck to come in so I can begin clothes shopping. Might have a pic by next week.
Sorry for the delay.
Don't worry about the clothes - it's head & shoulders for a passport photo! Shove on a turle neck sweater or an overcoat or sommat. If I don't have a photo by the end of March you will have a blank ID card - try explaining that at a checkpoint!

Photo on its way, thanks. ![]()

Pic sent, see new avatar.
Mine too.

Customised ID cards have now been made.
For those that didn't get a photo to me in time please bring a regular sized passport photo (from a photo booth or a good computer printout) which can be inserted into your pass when you book in on game day.
Life will be very difficult for you if your papers are not in order so it's in your interest to get it sorted!
