British WWII Sten SMG Bandolier - seven mag holder - museum quality.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/British-WWII- ... 500wt_1413

It looks like an All Made Ups version from India. I was very pleased with mine when I got it over a year ago. At £25 plus postage its a bargain, I paid £54 for mine after import duty. Great for the Paras at the Arnhem Game in March.

The handle on the knife is offset on the WW2 one isnt it, not central?

Yes, the WWII ones have a more solid handle, that's a nam era knife.

WWII are like this:
http://www.soldusa.com/rainworx/uploade ... B31991.JPG

or the same but with a black plastic handle, which I can't find a pic of.

Modern knock off Soviet style pouch. I mistakenly bought one for use with MP40 mags on my soviet impression, before I got the PPsh. The loop on the back of mine was nylon and this is probably the same.

Wow I have a Commando bergen almost identical to that also covered in Scouting and walking pataches.
And i mean pretty much identical. condition and placement of patches

Makes you wonder if there was a group or area that had them donated by the army in the 60s or such.
or maybe the pattern for the sack was used to make some speciffically for the scouts.

Thats really interestin

My '44 dated mountian bergan (a rarer version, like the commando bergan, but mounted on an X-carrier* frame) also had travelling/hiking badges on the top flap (thankfully, only three!).

I like the scout patches, they show a life after a freeze frame picture for a Men at Arms book.

No use for 'us', but then we are not the centre of the universe.

They will probably leave nasty faded ghost outlines of the patches and stand out a mile :(
