Anyone with the requisite load out interested in joining Dog Co for this game is most welcome.
We're trying to bring a little organisation to our battle weekends and are hoping to get a 8 man squad together. We will all have specific squad roles and responsibilities and you will be expected to follow orders to the best of your ability.
This is not about a select few dishing out abuse and getting their jollies from such behaviours! It's all about like minded individuals, coming together and organising themselves into an approximation of a WW2 fighting unit. :good: please know, we are trying to move away from lone-wolfing and more towards fighting as a cohesive unit!
We'll be fighting with the usual collection of small arms, boosted by toting a .30cal LMG and a 3" mortar :happyswing: (we bring the pain)

We have 5 guys so far and adding another 2-3 would be fantastic.

BAR, Garand, Thompson and Greaser. :) Would love to use the Garand as I now have quite a few shot gun mags for it which makes its now more viable.

Hopefully we can recruit a second BAR gunner.

If your going as a "support" role a Carbine or Greaser would be small and light. I can lend you the M3 if you like.

Any more willing volunteers to hold the front line with the battered bastards of Bastogne?
3+ rewrites required to give the Hun a jolly good thrashing!?

Bar would give us some balance as ww2stu has one too. That'd give us the 30, two bars, and three riflemen :good: We can use the Bar as flank security

quick questions for you guys, do you run the Bar as a support weapon as tons of ammo and deployed or do you just treat same as smg with 300 rounds ? only asking as couple of us may bring for the 34th squad :) and
just wanted to get it right :)

We've never really got ourselves that organised. My idea was that as we're to be dug in on the defensive that we'd deploy the 30 cal central with a BAR on either flank and riflemen in between. So in that case, I'd suggest using it as a support weapon. This would also be the case if we're on the move. A deployable support weapon as second man and tail end charlie with riflemen in between. However, if you've been any suggestions stick them up :good:

As did most of the men back in the day, more weight meant more pain.

I believe the bipod was often thrown away too although I like it as it adds alot more weight to the Chinese Clone BAR.
