Yerp, I agree. A tad crazy.

A touch too far off. And as the driver, I am hoping this journey is less eventful than the last one. ;)

Also not looking forward to the drive, but I have already badged up my jacket and started packing.

Cheers

Just hoping to Christ my Heer uniform arrives in time; otherwise it's a transfer to the FJ!

Starting to get excited, slightly dampened as daughter number two has just had a week in hospital with another infection. Not as serious as last years three and half week stay, but not great.

So, crossing fingers and hoping she doesn't have a relapse, I have packed most of my stuff and sorted out rations.

Sorry Gareth, you are booked for Pionier. :waggle: If you come on Friday, i am sure Josh will still have some Heer Uniform for you.

I just started the logistics but 10l German beer (Koelsch) already arrived from the Nachschubdepot :happydance:

Will finish sorting out my kit this morning then a "dress up" tonight to make sure the webbing is adjusted right (well thats my excuse) :good:

Edit: well thats everything assembled, just need to:
*Buy gas for tent heater
*Buy food & beer
*Charge batteries and find lost battery
*Clean gun barrels and final check all is working

My kit is all sorted now too, apart from the last minute things like charging batteries.

Buy gas for tent heater

I just put thermal base layers, extra socks and a balaclava in my rucksack instead :)

Cheers

Let's see;

Webbing blanco'ed and assembled, insignia sewn on, inflated my car tires up to the recommended level. A small pile of kit is now forming in the next room. All that's left to-do is the food and booze shop(helped by my neighbour giving me 9 packets of Uncle Ben's rice  ), and hope I don't forget anything important. Not looking forward to the 2 hour drive though.

Also I don't know about you guys, but I'm also looking forward to being able to eat complete junk all weekend and not feeling guilty about it.
