Some pratical question - when will you guys be on site tomorrow? As it still dark at 7pm, i will try being there earlier as i dont think i can put up a tent after not having done this for 20 years. Tim, depend on your bits. Ant idea of ETA?
Hoping to be there for 5, 6 at the very latest. Like yourself I prefer putting up tent etc while still light

I'm hoping to be down there by five, but it depends when I can get away from work and on the many, many miles of Friday afternoon rush hour traffic in the rain, so who knows.
Putting tents up in the dark is OK as there isn't a blackout 
but it is very easy to lose things or discover you've put it on an ants nest and/or sharp tree root. We'll need to put them up well because it is going to pelt with rain tonight.

Just frantically trying to sew on the insignia. I didn't get the Shoulder Boards, unfortunately, but not going to complain at the moment. Close enough.

Well if you can get hold of a black marker pen I have a spare set of infantry shoulder boards you can colour black

It was a very impressive Zug i have to say. I regret a bit that we did not take a picture of all of us together. I think in a black and white picture, we could have been mistaken for a real one.
I think we did quite well not falling into bits and pieces and kept formation for most of the time which was not always easy in the terrain and due to enemy activity.
Unfortunately we were not able to bring our fire power into full play due the ammunition sabotage and weapon malfunctions.
It was great fun and hope to fight side by side soon again

we had similar mortar problems with ours not going very far , but i think ours are from the old stock era loool but they added bangs to the game if admittedly more near our troops than you guys lol but was still fun
