Lot to be said for all sides having an informal 'umbrella' group to organise for games.

To an extent we do it in the side specific threads for various events, but it might be an idea to create a separate group for it.

Cheers

What about "Tin Hats- British WW2 airsoft group"?
If we do it we may as well have a fancy name. :D

The Bulldogs
The Battle Bowlers
The Tommies

The last one sounds incredibly egotistical since my real name shortened is Tommy, but I guess those three work.

King Arms M1928 Thompson Submachine Gun
AGM Sten Mk.II

I quite like "The Battle Bowlers" actually, originally I thought "Tommy Atkins" would be good but they're already a reenactment group :slap:

Just another nickname for the Mk.II "Brodie" Helmet, sir. After all, the others have already suggested The Brodie Bunch and Tin Hats.

Yeah I came up with "Tin Hats" after I found out that "Tommy Atkins" already existed. I was trying to think of something that is an iconic symbol of the WW2 British soldier. A slang term/nickname for the MK 2 just seemed the best option.

How about "The ordinary layabouts" in the words of Spike Milligan :). Definitely support the idea of a British Conglomerate(? No idea what the proper term would be) group akin to Alte Hasen, I'd still like to get around to having a go at British myself some time.

I've fired a bullet on every continent. Nearly hit someone, too.

I rather like 'The Brodie Bunch'.

A couple of other suggestions, 'Warriors for the working day', ''18 Platoon', or how about 'The long, the short and the tall'? The song which goes with it could be our theme tune :)

Cheers
