Yeah I came up with "Tin Hats" after I found out that "Tommy Atkins" already existed. I was trying to think of something that is an iconic symbol of the WW2 British soldier. A slang term/nickname for the MK 2 just seemed the best option.

How about "The ordinary layabouts" in the words of Spike Milligan . Definitely support the idea of a British Conglomerate(? No idea what the proper term would be) group akin to Alte Hasen, I'd still like to get around to having a go at British myself some time.
