Me and a couple of mates are from Telford and are currently forming a new unit provisionally to play / portray a small section of the Kings Shropshire Light Infantry c.France 1944. We are from Telford and would love to here from any of you guys who'd like to have a good ole time as 'ordinary' British infantry squaddies as on 06/06/44. We are both ex reenactors ( me 19 years in the Napoleonic Association and American Civil War Society ) and we'd like to get our kit as near as damn it to reenactment standards without breaking the bank or ending up as elitist pains in the backsides. Our evolving ethos is to get it right ( within reason ) and to have as much fun as we can. ..... Your looking splendid by the way, new shoes ? nice .... So if this appeals to you and you live in or around Telford, Shropshire, Midlands, England, UK or anywhere else, drop me a line at holdouthux@hotmail.co.uk , and we can have a chat.

Huxley :D

Hiya

A lot of us do brit infantry.

One of the PBI impressions is the Hallamshire Battalion.

Check out the PBI sections.

I also do 52nd lowland div as in the kit guide.

Our main impression however is South Staffords, if you dont mind rebadging you're welcome to join us - we've about 16 on role at the mo.

New to all this I'm afraid. Just seen your photos in the kit section and I'm very impressed, wasn't aware of your group until now. I've done a bit of WWII reenactment a few years back now with XXI Para but badged up as South Staffs, wish I'd kept my Denison !

All the best

Well you're all welcome to join us chap.

At the moment we can field a rifle section and a HQ at events but building up to a platoon isnt unrealistic as a future goal.

Here's some of us at a re-enactment show:
