I thought this might sit here better than in the reference section:
Does anyone else have issues with wearing airsoft-goggles with the MK II helmet? Had huge problems last sunday with the helmet pushing the goggle strap down, as I tend to keep my strap at the top portion of the top of my head, and not a above my ears like swimming goggles etc. I wear ESS Advancers normally, but I do own a pair of ICEs (though they have issues with being not close enough to my face at the bottom and too close at the top, ill-fitting anyway). Help would be appreciated.
Why do you always carry that umbrella?
-Bad memory. Never could remember the password. Knew no Jerry would carry one. Had to prove I was an Englishman, you see.
A bridge too far
Never had an issue with MKII lids and eye protection myself.

i use guarder shooting glasses or the close fit mesh goggles with elastic head band and never had an issue with any of my helmets except with baggy nets drooping into view.

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.

I use the ESS glasses with lens inserts and they are fine with all my various helmets including Mark IIs. Sometimes the ear pieces can chafe a bit. The only real problem with the glasses and a Mark II is that the strap is blindingly obvious under the rear rim of the helmet when it is worn at an appropriate jaunty angle, especially as I have a shaved head.
I did try the ESS goggles but they fog like crazy.
If the ESS glasses don't fit properly, it is possible to bend the ear pieces after the gentle application of heat.
